The "Regentenkamer " used to be the room in which the regents of the almshouses "Meermanshof" convened in the 17th century. The room has been kept in its original state and is one of the most beautiful interiors of Leiden with an elegant stucco ceiling, a marble fireplace and authentic furniture. The venue offers room for 20 to 40 persons and is fully equipped. Extensive catering is possible and everything is served on appropriate crockery. Also, specific wishes, like transport on the water, tourist events or a musical time-out can be accommodated.
