With a great variety of products and services the University Facilitary Organisation (UFB) supports the Academic community consisting of at least 15000 students and some 5000 personnel.
The provision of commercial services for the faculties and other academic units is extensive and complex. Other organisations outside Leiden University, but often affiliated to it, regularly make use of the UFB services.

UFB Catering provides direct services to consumers. This division operates on 25 catering locations within easy reach of its clients.
Congress- and meeting facilities provided in the Academy building and in the Faculty Club, both situated at the Rapenburg, as well as the Gorleaus laboratories, can also be fully serviced by the UFB. Other catering facilities that can be organised are buffets on location and stylish dinners at the Faculty Club. Graphic products including sign and display, audio visual and photographic support, mailing services, greenery and flowers for interior decorations can also be provided.

For the service mentioned the UFB takes care with a team of professionals who consider it a challenge to render an optimal service to their clients. The UFB organisation has free use of high quality production goods and if necessary revert to a network of external partners.
The services offered are provided by UFB Catering Group and the Multi Media Group, which consists of the following units: graphic design productions, copy and printshops (4x), the audio visual services, photo and digital and the department of post and transportation.
