 Architecture.... Koornbrug (Corn Bridge)
This bridge dates from 1642, but already in the 15th century corn was traded here. When it was renewed in the 17th century Arent van 's Gravesande designed a bridge with three arches.
In the 19th century it was decided to roof over the bridge, so as to protect the merchandise. Salomon van der Paauw designed the neoclassist roof (1825)
