Herman Boerhaave.... Anatomical Theatre  he Theatrum Anatomicum or "dissecting room" was especially built for the instruction of students of medicine. The room was laid out in such a way that all students could observe the professor who cut open a corpse. This way he taught anatomy and surgery. A reconstruction can be found at Museum Boerhaave.
