Rembrandt.... Peter's Church  n front of the pulpit the Van Rijn family grave was situated, under one of the three nameless stones. Here his parents, brothers and sisters were buried. Halfway through the 19th century the graves were removed. In this same church two other famous Leiden painters, Jan Steen and Gerrit Dou, were buried as well as the leader of the Pilgrims, John Robinson. |
