Rembrandt.... Museum De Lakenhal

he Cloth Hall was built in 1638-1640. Here the products of the booming Leiden textile industry were inspected and sold. In 1874 the building was turned into a municipal museum. It possesses a historically important painting from 1626 by Rembrandt, paintings by his teachers Swanenburg and Lastman, as well as his friend Jan Lievens and other contemporaries.
